Discography
That seemingly carefree personality is reflected in the band's light roots rock sound. Contrary to some of the hard rap style lyrics over deep bass driven productions that are featured in much of reggae-dancehall music, The Itals have a gentler and more upbeat ska sound that's closer to the classic definition of reggae. Porter's sweet singing blends as beautifully over their classic hits today as it ever has, and the music's uplifting and positive message resounds to listeners just as mightily.
